John Ballantyne, of The Leland Group in Cincinnati, Ohio, began his career with a large national home builder over 30 years ago. Throughout the years he has assembled a portfolio of custom homes that includes French country, Arts and Crafts, modern and transitional. He has worked with the world-renowned Taliesin Architects to create a stunning Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired home that was featured in the 2002 Cincinnati Homearama Luxury Edition. John began The Leland Group in 2004 with a commitment to build every home as if it were his own.
Although his wife Lynn has worked with the company for many years, she recently joined the team full-time. Through honesty, respect, and teamwork with you, our trades, and our suppliers, we believe we can create a truly custom home that thoroughly meets your expectations while staying true to your vision and budget.

Professional Affiliations
John served as President of the Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati in 2013 and is still an active member today. He is also involved nationally in Pacesetters, a Builder 20 group of the National Association of Home Builders. This group consists of some of the premiere builders in the country, who are interviewed and chosen by the group from non-competing markets. Pacesetters meets biannually and consults regularly to share knowledge and expertise in the building industry, offering advice on financial decisions, performance, and problem-solving with the goal of raising home-building standards.
